This has been reinforced with Lucent announced as the winner of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) award for Medium Density Development (less than 50 apartments) in 2021. Lucent also received a special commendation in the Luxury category at the 2021 West Australian Advocacy Awards with Celsius Developments also receiving a special commendation for precinct rejuvenation for the project, Vic Quarter located in Victoria Park.

After a successful career in Local Government which culminated as CEO of the City of Fremantle, Greg decided to leave the public sector and start his own company. During his time at Fremantle, Greg gained considerable experience and recognition in this position as his appointment coincided with the America’s Cup Defence. The City of Fremantle underwent a major revitalization during this period.
Post 1987 Greg started Windsor Knight Pty Ltd as a small Commercial Property Development company. The company has grown over the past 30 years into a specialized Retail/Commercial Development Company which enjoys preferred Developer status with many of the major retailers in Australia. Windsor Knight operates in all states of Australia excepting Queensland and has developed $657M worth of projects. Greg has specialized in medium sized Shopping Centres and high end Specialist Medical Centres. He particularly enjoys the challenge of integrating Supermarkets and specialty shops into main street locations.
Windsor Knight has partnered with Celsius Developments on the 385 Rokeby Road Subiaco Project because Celsius Developments have the residential development skills and experience to design and implement this component of the project. Windsor Knight will focus on the retail component of the project.

We are a collaborative bunch who enjoy the challenges of working with a diverse client and consultant group across a wide range of project typologies including Student Housing, Multi-residential, Mixed use Hospitality, Seniors living and the odd Wavegarden or two. We are predominantly based in Perth but have a little studio in Melbourne too.
MJA currently has three Directors overseeing six Associates and a total of 34 staff. Our recent growth has been made possible by our ability to balance the commercial needs of our clients with the design aspirations of approving authorities and the amenity provided by the architecture for the end user.
